There are several options available with different flavors that Google
can help you with. For an ISO project run by the Asterisk developers, take a look at:

AsteriskNOWTM 1.7 64 bit
If you are running Version 2.3 or later, there is no need to pull the tarball to upgrade. You can simply use the Online Module Administration page to upgrade the entire package by choosing the
FreePBX Framework Module. Otherwise, complete instructions to upgrade from a tarball can be found at:
